haha! lookie i did a ... HUMAN!! :giggle:
i know.. its not very normal from me.. but... i wanted to do a koala... and well, everyone does a koala hugging a tree. I thought it would be boring to follow suit so i did the lil koala hugginf a girl :D The idea is that she is taking care of him :D

Oh yah.. and i hope it looks something like australia.. (i dont think thats the famous rock there by the way because i dont think that has water anywhere near it.. i could be wrong though.. never been.)

Hope you like it! :D

This piece is really simple, pleasant to the eye and it lets the watcher chose the hidden meaning behind the piece. The technique is very flawless, except for the bushes which have the rough, prickly shape you would normally associate with this type of vegetation.

The colours are all muted, but this really gives the desert feeling that the artist is trying to convey through this piece. It's such a simple idea, yet it really conveys strong messages. It is also cute and unique! I haven't seen a piece like this in a while!

In general, this piece is special and really fun.

This piece is an exquisite example of Parachena's work. The colors and shapes used are so very dramatic even though the tones of each color are what most would describe as muted. Each color seems to be picked with the single word, "innocence" in mind.

The angle is what really strikes me. It seems to that this image was drawn with the idea of an aerial photo in mind. The front is crisp, clean, clear. A bit high but then the sweeping softened landscape in the background helps bring the image together. I really love how the bridge seems to have a jaggedness to it. As if it was constructed to be part of nature and not just out of it.

The expressions in the eyes of each character in this piece is very adorable and yet so sad. It reminds me of the look children give when they bring a stray home only to hear their parents say they cannot keep it. Combine this with how they are holding each other and it just amplifies this feeling.

As per usual, Parachena does not disappoint with yet another wonderful piece of art for all to treasure. My only question is, when will this and other such wonderful works of art be available at our local baby stores? Any parent would be quick to hang these in the nursery of their new born baby. I can even picture a line a plush stuffed animals to children to snuggle up against at night.

Bravo! A standing ovation is deserved.

OH adorable. I love the background. Absolutely love the colors. The little girl is a cute change also. Kaola in her arms. ^_^
However for future note. The bridge seems to be on a slant, and so the little girl looks funny so up right. She too should be at an angle. If you see what I mean? ^^;

Anyways. I love it! :heart:
